January sale - visit York while it is quieter in January and enjoy luxury accommodation in a desirable location near York, Harrogate and Castle Howard. Our converted barn in landscaped gardens, has two double bedrooms, the main having cast iron free standing bath. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house being adjacent. We also have a 7kW EV charging point

The Little House Peaceful & self-contained

Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Little House is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village with a safe garden for dogs and children. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to roam freely.

The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

A perfect countryside get away, right on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire National Park. Great location for the Cleveland Way, mountain biking and forestry walks. We’re close to both the historic towns of Thirsk & Northallerton for retail therapy & fabulously famous afternoon tea!
