Free parking on the doorstep. 30 second walk to stunning curved beach, promenade, off shore sculpture and links golf course. Walking distance to local amenities and church point where dolphins are sighted. From here you can explore the rest of this heritage coastline. Newcastle’s city centre is less than 30 mins drive. Alnwick castle(filming location for Harry Potter)is a 45 min drive in land.

Longsands Hideaway offers a little pocket of peace amongst all the action. A 5-minute stroll from Tynemouth Front Streets array of boutique shops, restaurants, bars and the weekend Flea Market at the Victorian Station. A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.
