The hideaway is nestled above a private field, in a grove of fir trees, overlooking the rolling fields of Hanham hills This hidden sanctuary provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Lie in bed listening to the dawn chorus or spend a night under the stars in our private field, the hideaway offers a truly unforgettable experience. Situated 20 minuets away from both Bristol and Bath, this hand-built hideaway is perfect for those looking for an idyllic country setting with the opportunity to explore two culturally beautiful cities. The hideaway is ideally located to provide privacy whilst offering spectacular views of the South West countryside. It has been designed efficiently to maximise space but maintains comfort and ensures a relaxing stay. Accommodating 2 guests, the Shepherd’s Hut is split into a cosy, elevated sleeping compartment with curtains and a fully equipped kitchenette/living area, beautifully furnished giving a rustic feel. Separated from the living space by a curtain, the bedroom compartment is cosy and private, boasting a large king-sized bed. The hut also provides a large adjustable , wall-mounted TV, complete with Wi-Fi, which can be watched from the living area or the bedroom. The kitchenette is perfect for preparing simple meals, offering a sink with hot and cold water, handsome wooden worksurfaces, a microwave,oven,grill, 3 in 1 a kettle, and a fridge. After preparing your meal, you can sit on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take a seat on the foldable dining chairs accompanied with a foldable dining table. On a pleasant, sunny day you can take your meal outside and enjoy the rich birdsong that fills the air whilst eating your meal. If you are lucky, you may spot the deer that roam the fields surrounding the hut. Located a few meters away from the main space is a separate hut containing the surprisingly spacious bathroom a large heated wet room complete with a W.C and washbasin. If an indoor shower does not appeal to you, the hut also provides a unique outdoor shower. Complete with hot and cold water, it is a memorable feature for you to enjoy, no matter the weather. A few steps away from the doors to the hut is a wooden staircase that leads you down into the field where you are free to roam and relax. Why not take one of the picnic blankets provided and enjoy a tranquil afternoon cup of tea on the grass or sipping the prosecco gifted to you in your Welcome Pack. This offers the best of both worlds. It is rural but well connected as there are several main roads that run through the area. It offers lovely country walks, many close to the river Avon. There are many public houses in the area (4 within a 10 min walk and an additional 5 within a 10 min drive) as well as local supermarkets. It is located halfway between Bath and Bristol; it is half an hour’s drive to each. Both are vibrant, fascinating cities with many attractions. Bath boasts the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa and the iconic Royal Crescent. Bristol is famous for the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge and the bustling bars and cafes along the Harbourside. We are also located 20 minutes away from the outstanding National Trust Area- Dyrham Park. Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Fisherman’s Lodge at Crane Lodge

Close to Bath & Bristol - both 9 mins away by train. 10-15 min walk or 3 min drive to the train station. 15 min walk to Keynsham High Street's shops, bars & restaurants. Our local pub the Lock Keeper is a 5 min walk away. We are alongside the River Avon - from the front door you can walk straight over the fields. The Swan pub in Swineford is roughly a 45 min walk away & The Bird in Hand in Saltford is approx the same, all of which serve good food. There are many quality golf courses close by.

The Garden Apartment

Luxury self contained garden apartment in the lovely village of Saltford, 5 miles from the centre of the world heritage city of Bath and 7 miles from the centre of Bristol. The apartment has a open plan kitchen and living area with French doors opening onto a small private patio area, one double bedroom and shower room. There is secure gated parking for one car on the driveway. Please not that the apartment is attached to a residential dwelling, it is self contained with private entrance.

The cottages overlook a paddock, a wood and views over the magnificent Chew Valley countryside, yet are only a few minutes away from a lot of places of interest like Bristol, Bath, The Cotswolds, Wells (cathedral), Cheddar Gorge and the Mendips Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. The perfect mix of country retreat and city break!

New Barn, Dyrham, Near Bath.

New Barn is located in the yard of our family farm, we are conveniently located between Bath and Bristol, 5 minutes from the M4, junction 18. Work space with WiFi. We are in a very handy location for those of you visiting the Badminton horse trials. Renovations have been carried out with love and care by master builders, it has all of the modern comforts you would expect from a hotel suite but retains the rustic charm of a Cotswold Stone barn with vaulted ceilings and exposed oak beams.

Pretty annex with kitchen and private garden

This lovely annex has its own private entrance with a small fenced garden and patio area with table and chairs. There is one ensuite kingsize bedroom (or 2 singles) and a open plan kitchen with sofa bed (more suitable for children as no separate bathroom) There is parking outside. Our beautiful hamlet is very quiet with great walks from the door. We do run a working farm so you may occasionally hear that in action. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

We like to keep things simple and ensure your stay is enjoyable, calm and at your own pace - essentially an easy stay that keeps all in the family happy. Our Lodge is spacious, perfect for families has a Gym with a shower area, a fully equipped Kitchen, Lounge, Sky Q and WiFi. Upstairs we have an area in the main bedroom with an Xbox S (digital version) for the gamers!

The guest house is self-contained, with parking and a private courtyard. The wooden clad lodge makes the perfect get-away with its beautifully decorated interiors. The lodge has a kitchen, breakfast bar for dining, lounge, bathroom & one bedroom with a double bed. Set in the historic village of Saltford, it’s within walking distance of Saltford Golf Club and is the perfect base for exploring the heritage city of Bath (10min drive) and the bustling city of Bristol (20min drive).

The flat is cosy, light and homely. There’s 3 heaters in the annexe for chilly evenings. Tea/coffee/sugar/towels are complimentary. It is around 7miles into Bath/Bristol where there is ample car parking. Bus service to Bath/Bristol are 100yrds of flat. A car is recommended for supplies. Please let us know if your car is large so we can advise parking on our drive. The nearest station is Keynsham which is a 10min drive/30min walk. Tv with Netflix/Amazon prime/sports channels.
