Alberton Gorge is known for its whitewater rafting & the Clark Fork River has epic fishing, floating, & boating opportunities. It’s also very common to see bighorn sheep scale the cliffs up Petty Creek Rd.

Welcome to the 9 Mile Schoolhouse and Teacherage! Our home is yours and it is full of charm, history, and character. Cozy and cute, it has a very comfortable layout and is nestled in 9 Mile, close to the interstate for easy commute to Missoula, but out in the country for quiet times and stargazing, minus distractions and busyness of town. Kitchen is fully stocked and we have homemade brew on tap for the beer lovers. Enjoy an evening of outdoor cinema, a bonfire, or just a breath of fresh air.

Enjoy watching the fire dance at the campfire circle by the creek. Great hiking trails close by, and just 20 miles to Lolo Hot Springs and 4 miles to a restaurant/saloon. This is a space to truly unwind, as there is no cell phone coverage, but there is limited WiFi. Chef cooked breakfast available (costs extra).
