The accommodation comprises a large sitting room, wood burning stove, king size bedroom with TV and large ensuite bathroom, with a bath and shower, private terrace overlooking the valley. NO KITCHEN. We are situated perfectly within walking distance of the South West Coast path to explore the picturesque coast on foot.

'Tall Trees' is a small apartment recently converted from a garage attached to Grade II listed Longmeadows Lodge. It is a calm space ideal for a single person or a couple. It would suit guests who are looking for a base in the East Devon countryside, but would like easy access to the A30, M5, Exeter, Dartmoor and the Coast. Tall Trees is in a small hamlet, and is nestled in amongst other dwellings. It benefits from its own front door, a parking space, and a private patio and garden area.

The Coach house is recently renovated to a very high standard. It consists of a living room with plenty of seating, wood burner, free supply of logs, under floor heating, a dining room that opens into our extensive gardens, a bathroom with shower, separate bath and plenty of fluffy towels and a large upstairs bedroom with seating area with views over the River Otter and garden. It is ideal for a couple/ young family as there is a cot and single bed, available in the bedroom area.

And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Cosy countryside annex

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of the Devon countryside, this cozy annexe features a double bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, and a kitchenette and living area, with sofa-bed (suitable for smaller kids). It is half of a barn-conversion, on the grounds of a 300 year-old cob and thatch farmhouse, with a driveway area to park right next to the annex. There is a shared garden, lots of local walks, and fields all around.

The Log Cabin

Based on a working racehorse training yard set in 9 acres of private land, you will find our cosy Log Cabin with amazing views and beautiful sunsets. You will be able to enjoy the unique experience of watching horses out working on the gallops and grazing in the paddocks.
