Charming Renovated 1930's Soapstone Workers' Bungalow Relaxing, peaceful getaway in gorgeous Nelson County. Adjacent to a large hay field which leads down to a private branch of the Rucker's Run with excellent fishing. The cottage is at the end of a quiet country lane with few nearby houses. The newly renovated home was initially built to house workers from a soapstone quarry located on the property. During the remodel, we even found rationing coupons from 1945 hidden in the walls!

With direct access to the Tye River, guests can enjoy kayaking, and tubing, weather and river conditions permitting. Special rates are, available for extended stays.
