🌳 Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Unwind or head out and feel the energy of the outdoors, you’re in for a lovely stay!

Situated 3.5km from the picturesque village of Eersel, on the very edge of the forest, lies B&B De Zandhoef. This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests, however 2 to 4 is more comfortable with the space available. You have access to your private Jacuzzi and our heated outdoor swimming pool (April - October) There are many mountain-bike and hiking trails in the area and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB to try these out. Your horse or dogs are also welcome with us.(surcharge)

Het buitenhuis is een zeer comfortabele woning, geschikt voor vakantie of werken vanuit huis. Het is een ruime sfeervolle woning met open keuken, woonkamer, 3 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Aan de achterzijde is er een terras met zithoek en hottub en prachtig uitzicht. De bedden zijn opgemaakt. Honden zijn welkom, omheinde tuin. Gelegen in Rijsbergen aan de weg van Breda naar Zundert, net buiten de bebouwde kom met supermarkten, bakker en restaurants, wandel- en fietspaden dichtbij.

Het huis ligt achter ons eigen huis maar geeft volledige privacy en heeft uitzicht over de kleine weide met kippen. Between the woods and heath, you can sleep in this restored Gipsy cart. If you like comfort, nature and privacy, you're here at the right place. The pearl of this region is still the viper, one of the rarest reptiles in Flanders. Besides hiking and biking, the area is also suitable for day trips like visiting the 'Lilse Bergen' in summer (4.1km), the abbey of Westmalle (13km), Lilse Golf & Country (2.2km). Antwerp is also with 40km not very far.
