The Old Stable, a secluded annex in Langar

A relaxing place to stay in the Vale of Belvoir for up to four guests. With country walks and great village pubs in the surrounding area and close proximity to Langar Hall Hotel. The Old Stable is attached to the main house but has it’s own entrance via a shared courtyard. It is a two bedroom home with ample parking available. We are within 15 minutes of The Engine Yard at Belvoir Castle and within 30 minutes from Melton Mowbray, Grantham and Nottingham. A perfect location for any getaway.

Penellie Barn at Wayside Farm

Penellie Barn is located in the picturesque village of Hough-on-the-Hill, near Grantham in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside. Home of the award winning pub, The Brownlow Arms, Hough-on-the-Hill is within close proximity to many local attractions. Lovingly restored from an old stable building into a luxurious countryside getaway, Penellie Barn offers peace and tranquility as you enjoy the nature around, walk through our beautiful countryside or relax under the stars in the hot tub.

Private Shepherd’s Hut with Castle view

Mabel our Shepherd’s hut, was built here on the farm by us. Nestled in a secluded peaceful corner of our small stud farm, you will have complete privacy with no neighbours, surrounded only by nature. Mabel offers a tranquil space to digitally detox, with views out across the fields to the historic Belvoir castle. Mabel has a a wood fired hot tub set in a clearing in the woodland & an outdoor bath, perfect for relaxing & stargazing. Inside a mini hobbit wood burning stove will keep you warm.

The Garden House at Hungerton

This stunning property with double height ceiling, dramatic internal columns and beautiful interior design, sits at the end of a tree lined drive against stunning parkland - perfect for those seeking the peace and quiet of the countryside. Decorated to a high standard, this property offers wonderful open-plan space, a well equipped kitchen, large shower room and a bedroom area with working fireplace and French doors opening on to your own private garden. Private entrances and parking.

The Barn

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

The Annex at Bramble Lodge

Refurbished in 2025, the ‘Annex at Bramble Lodge’ sits in the middle of the village of Stathern and in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir. Stathern is a farming village, hence, we do have tractors, horse boxes and horses etc passing by. Accommodation is a self contained annex all on ground level with its own personal entrance and off road parking. A basic cold breakfast is provided. Guests are welcome to share the use of the rear enclosed garden with the host’s family.

Located in the heart of rural Leicestershire, our luxury glamping pods are the perfect location for a country getaway. With a permenant double bed and the option of a second pull out double bed we cater for either a couple or group of four. Self catering facilities, a fully fitted shower room, a TV and WiFi combined with an extensive network of foot paths, bridle ways and national cycle routes makes our pods the perfect hub for your country escape.

Self contained accommodation, private entrance in beautiful rural setting. Sitting room with log burner and kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave and Nespresso machine. Two bedrooms with shared bath / shower room. We allow up to 2 dogs. We also offer a fully enclosed half acre paddock for exercising them. No street lights so it is a perfect location for stargazing. Village pub 5 mins walk away. Local for Stamford, Belvoir Castle, and Burghley House.
