Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. Welcome to Beechwood Nature Stays! This 676 sqft waterfront Lake Cottage has a modern rustic interior that will make you feel comfortable & super cozy during your stay! Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

We are 30 minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry terminal in North Sydney, 20 minutes from the entrance to the Cabot Trail via the Englishtown Cable Ferry . We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.

Welcome to our beautiful cabin located on hwy 4 only 13 min from Sydney River, 5min from the ski hill and benion marina, 1 min from the country market where you can get anything needed including a ice cream sore in summer and small liquor store. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
