We are happy to show you the animals or you are welcome to just peacefully enjoy your stay! Brooks is 15 minutes from Belfast, 40 minutes from Camden and 45 minutes from Bangor. We have many suggestions of fun places to visit during your stay!!

Enjoy soaking up the sun or a meal on the large wrap around deck. Catch a fish or jump off the dock, or just wade in from the beach if that’s what you prefer. Paddle around the lake on the paddle boards, kayaks or canoe. Toast marshmallows at the fire pit, take in the sunset, or just relax, you’re on lake time!

The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
