One of our 2 boutique, self-contained rooms set in the grounds of a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Ashdon village, 10 mins away from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Cambridge. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely local walks & places of interest. A warm welcome at the village pub. Get away from it all if you are wanting peace and quiet. Beautiful walks in open country on the doorstep. Explore Cambridge, Suffolk, Essex. Imperial War Museum Duxford and Audley End House. 3 acres of landscaped gardens of 16th century timber framed former farmhouse where friendly owners live. Rail for London station 5 miles, Saffron Walden 3 miles Lovely traditional barn. If you want white & modern, this is not for you, if you want warm & traditional this is a winner. (Guest review 7/22)

Studio in the heart of a popular Cambridgeshire village. Perfect stay for commuter working at Babraham Institute or Granta Park. The studio has all the amenities that you would need for a quick business trip such as super fast WiFi, desk, (printer just ask) & smart t.v. Towels and bed linen also provided. The studio has a small kitchen with microwave-oven or options to eat out in our local curry house or lovely village pubs! The local Chinese and Indian do a prompt takeaway service!

This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests.
