Enjoy a tempting mix of takeaways nearby including luxury pizzas, Thai, curries, and top-notch fish and chips. The south-facing enclosed garden is ideal for unwinding with a drink in the sunshine. Scenic riverside and countryside walks start right from the doorstep. A key box at the front door means you can arrive whenever suits you. We’d love to host you!

Right in the middle of the village next to pubs and restaurants, great location, with a train station that can get you to Preston or Liverpool (via Ormskirk) Amenities: fridge, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar and stools, wardrobe, towels for two, TV with Netflix, iPlayer etc.

A lovely newly renovated house situated in the historic village of Croston, built circa 1890. A 5 minute walk to the centre of this pretty village. Where 3 country pubs and 2 restaurants can be enjoyed. The house is equal walking distance to Croston’s small railway station, with regular links to Preston, Ormskirk and Liverpool. There is parking directly outside the front of property. You can relax in the sunny secluded South West facing garden which comes equipped with garden furniture.

The annex, detached from the main house, is set within a beautiful landscaped garden. The spacious bedroom has a double bed and a Smart TV (you will also have to Sky, Netflix, Apple+, Paramount) the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The separate living area has a dining table, sofa and small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities, cutlery and crockery (for takeaways etc.) are provided. Parking is at the front or side of the house. There is access to strong WiFI . Pets are welcome.

Lantana House in the heart of Lancashire.
Lantana House is quietly situated on the fringe of the village of Brinscall in the Borough of Chorley in Lancashire. It is a traditional designed bungalow, built in 1950. This superb home looks out onto the village cricket green and from the rear, picturesque views of Brinscall Woods, Great Hill, Winter Hill, Rivington and the West Pennine Moors. You may walk, run or cycle from the front or the rear gate into miles of upland moorlands, tree lined valleys, rivers and reservoirs.

It is also a short distance from Manchester and Liverpool. With the indoor wood stove, new kitchen and bathroom, oak furniture, outdoor fire pit and garden overlooking a park, we hope you’ll find this a fantastic getaway.

Nestled in the heart of Wheelton village, Corner cottage is a cosy retreat ideal for visitors to this beautiful part of rural Lancashire. There are an abundance of pubs and eateries within easy walking distance of the cottage and you will love the local walks either on the canal towpaths, West Pennine moors or local woodlands. The village has a quaint and peaceful charm about it that you will also feel when you step inside the cottage.
