Wide open spaces with hiking, mountain-biking, trail running and stargazing to your heart's content on this beautiful 3rd generation sheep farm. Ideal for people wanting to escape busy city life or post Corona small apartments. There is no grid-supplied electricity on the farm but gas stove, gas geyser, gas fridge and oil lamps are available to help you reconnect to the peace and quiet.

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

The Aloes guest house

The Aloes Guest House offers spacious comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished self-catering unit. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests at a time. Raapfontein is a working sheep farm, 15 km from Hanover offering self catering accommodation and camping facilities The self-catering cottage has one bedroom. The full bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen and small dining area is perfect for preparing your own meals. Outside is a undercover braai area and undercover parking. Guests can help feed animals and enjoy the beautiful Karoo night sky.
