The Apple Barn, a tranquil country retreat

The Apple Barn is a charming retreat in the beautiful countryside of the Kent/ Sussex borders. Guests are welcome to roam through our ancient bluebell woods, picnic by the lake, and make friends with our rare breed sheep. We are a perfect base to explore Winnie the Pooh country, and the many National Trust properties, walking trails, local pubs and vineyards close by. Less than an hour from London Bridge, it is an ideal country getaway; private, quiet, and with everything you need for a break.

Perfect for a holiday, family gatherings, birthday celebrations and hen/stag and bridal parties. Full refurbishment carried out in 2023. Children and dogs very welcome.

Originally part of a Victorian vicarage it has double height ceilings. Much loved family home, tranquil, dog friendly. Perfect to cook, walk, recharge or romance. Heavenly courtyard with huge stone table for outdoor feasts. Lovely views & Bloomsbury charm. Village pub, farm shop, train station all walking distance.

The Old Apple Store

A lovely renovated old apple store in Kent. Featuring a pretty double bedroom and mezzanine floor with futon. Guests have their own garden to enjoy in the summer or a wood burner inside to cosy up to in winter. Situated in the countryside, a short drive to Tunbridge Wells. There are a huge range of activities and sights nearby including the lovely Penshurst Place. There are also so many fantastic places to eat and drink giving guests a lot of options to keep busy.

Set within a private wing of our characterful stable cottage, the guest accommodation has its own entrance and includes a double bedroom, private lounge, kitchenette and shower room, all for your exclusive use. Woodland walks begin nearby, with Hartfield, Pooh Corner and traditional country pubs a short drive away. Free parking and self check-in make it an easy base for a quiet Sussex break.

In the Heart of Beautiful Sussex

NEWLY REFURBISHED. The annexe is a self contained bright studio of roughly 25 square meters with its private and secure entrance, close to the main house, so we are not far away for help and advice. We are situated in a very beautiful spot of Sussex, 10 minutes to Ashdown Forest and only 20 minutes from Gatwick. We are 3 miles away from the center of the charming market town of East Grinstead. Unfortunately there is no public transport close to us.

Beautiful Countryside Cottage

Perfectly presented picture postcard cottage, on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, the inspiration for the Winnie-The-Pooh books and 3 minutes drive to the historic village of Hartfield for the village store, Pooh Corner tea rooms, pubs and farm shop. This is a great location to explore the Kent & Sussex countryside. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a 20 minute drive and only 45 minutes to the South Coast. We are family friendly.

Explore beautiful walks, historic villages and country pubs, then return to relax in nature. Dogs are welcome, and guests can also book a private pottery experience at our on-site pottery studio, subject to availability

Self-contained studio close to Pooh Bridge

Lovely light 1st floor studio flat. Totally self contained with off road parking. Very comfortable king size bed, large living space, kitchen (with fridge & cooker, kettle, toaster), shower/loo and TV. About 500m from both Pooh Bridge as well as an excellent pub. Tea, coffee etc plus welcome pack of cereals, bread, milk and butter will be awaiting your arrival. Use of garden area. Friendly host with equally friendly spaniel.

The Granary, Organic Vineyard stay with Pool.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
