Cosy historic cottage full of original features, right in the centre of Crewkerne. Makes a great base for exploring. Crewkerne is surrounded by beautiful countryside and coast, and if there are rainy days then there's still plenty to do, whether at local National Trust properties like Montacute or Barrington Court or around the town in the antique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The cottage was built in the early 1800s as a shoe shop, the other cottages on the row were for the shoemakers.

The River Parrett and trail runs through the farm . We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

Clapper Hay Annex

The Annex provides a completely self contained accommodation with it's own entrance and external keybox, enabling independent access. Fully refurbished self catering accommodation in a conservation area on the edge of Merriott village. Ideal for vacationing, users of the National Cycle path (30) or business users. The property is not suitable for pets. An 'exterior only' CCTV camera is fitted to the main house, to maintain the security on the driveway approach to the Annex.
