Only the guests on the reservation are allowed to be on my property. The listing is the entire UPPER LEVEL of my log cabin, conveniently located a mile from Downtown Winston-Salem! The back yard is surrounded by woods and a privacy fence! Very unique and you will never find a log cabin in the middle of the city like this. Huge, great and clean bang for the buck!

Quaint & artsy Hillsborough, funky & fun Chapel Hill/UNC and Carrboro are a short drive. Eno River State Park, hiking & biking trails, and the Mountains to Sea Trail are 2.5 miles away. Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

There is heat in the cabin! Outdoor shower winterized(not available until April 15th and we have rain)Outhouse bathroom, charcoal grill, & bistro table that provides a wonderful place to unwind! No running water inside, 5gallon jug provided. (No AC/full power without generator. Bring your own or rent one for a small fee)

Gaze out at the Blue Ridge Mountains from an A-Frame and give back at the same time. Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. Watch the sunset from the hot tub or chairs around the fire pit. Wake up and sip coffee from your private deck at each bedroom. BR Parkway, Floyd VA, Fairystone State Park and Philpott Lake are all 20 mins away.

Nestled in a clearing in the woods, this dog friendly newly remodeled cabin is a short walk to Smartview Recreation area and hiking trails. Whip up a home cooked meal in the well appointed kitchen, then enjoy the privacy and birdsong as you eat out on the front porch. Take your pup with you to Chateau Morissette winery, just 18 miles away, or relax on one of the porches and watch the deer or fox stroll by.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.
