Marple Bridge village (5 mins), Etherow Country Park, the Roman Lakes, Brabyns Park ( which hosts a weekly park run) and the Peak Forest Canal with it's 16 locks are all within a mile of the property. The farm is situated 1/2 mile away from the nearest village that has 2 pubs, bus stops and a train station (Manchester - Buxton). The Apartment is ideally placed for walking, with a path leading towards Lyme Park (1hr), and a path leading towards the neighbouring village of Whaley Bridge. (40 min).

Wayfarers Cottage, walkers paradise.

A traditional 2 bedroom cottage located close to the canal in the village of Buxworth, on the border of the Peak District. Both bedrooms have double beds, one of which can be converted into a twin, making it ideal for a family. There is a small courtyard, for early morning coffee, with a secure out-building, for storing muddy boots or bicycles. Fabulous position for walking and cycling whilst being close to public transport, Chinley and Whaley Bridge train station are both close by.
