Swim the lake, walk to Fort Portal and round the lake, visit adjoining lodges, tour our indigenous forest, visit the rift valley. For extra guests ask for the tent (garden campers shower/toilet available). For pre-teen children, no charge.

Enjoy this stunning location, with incredible views over Lake Kerere and Kibale National Park, with the Rwenzoris Mountains as your other view. There are 2 full time staff to help with washing dishes and cleaning. The cottage is situated on 27 acres of private land with 800 meters of lawn on the crater lake rim - all to yourself. It is a 45 minute drive to the chimp tracking starting point. It’s a great spot to go for walks, runs, bike rides and swim in the crater lakes.
