Enjoy the beautiful views of Puget Sound, Blake Island, Mt. Rainier and downtown Seattle from one of two decks off of the main floor. In cooler weather, the front sun deck is the perfect spot for happy hour or just relaxing. Take a short walk down the hill to visit the hamlet of Manchester. There's a public beach, outdoor pub, and other amenities available. The Southworth ferry will take you to West Seattle. Scheduled for Spring 2021, a "fast foot" ferry with service to downtown Seattle.

Kickback and relax in the 120-year-old Harper Beachside Escape. This tranquil home was craftly restored to hold its original charm while still catering to the tastes of a modern society. Sitting on a private beach next to a public fishing pier. You can sit under the covered porch enjoying views of Blake Island and the local sea otters. Bring your boat and anchor it out front while you explore all the Puget Sound has to offer. Worried about charging your electric vehicle? We got you covered!

Dragon Wheels Farm Stay

Come enjoy our beautiful farm in this unique tiny home stay. Although small, you will enjoy a private home with full kitchen and new private bath, complete with composting toilet and heated tile. Step outside to a view of the flowers surrounding a pond with free range ducks and geese, always ready to greet you. Your own patio area with bistro set overlooks a field home to our dairy goat herd. Enjoy the evening sounds of crichets and mourning doves as you wake. We are excited to host you here!

Waterfront Escape- Olalla Bay-Kayaks-Sealife

Olalla Bay Getaway is at the waters edge, just 45 minutes from Seattle via ferry or 10 minutes to Gig Harbor. The ever-changing views of the occasional seals, otters, porpoises, and eagles. The sound of waves and birds makes the perfect soundtrack for your getaway. Enjoy relaxing on a sun filled deck or check out the porch swing-perfect for a good book, glass of wine or a nap after your days adventure. Included in your stay are: kayaks, paddle board wood fire pit & propane fire table.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Wolf Den | Cozy Forest Cabin + Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Just a short ferry ride across the Salish Sea from Seattle or Tacoma, The Wolf Den is the perfect retreat for couples or solo travelers seeking a restorative getaway. After exploring the island's many pristine trails, beaches, and local attractions, unwind in the wood-fired soaking tub and let the calming rhythm of island life rejuvenate you.

A great location for access to the wonders of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula. Located 7 minutes away from the Ferry, which makes for an easy commute to downtown Seattle. We are also close to Hwy 16, which takes you across Hood Canal to the Olympic Peninsula, for great day-trips to this spectacular part of the state. We are located across the from Banner Forest Heritage Park, a 636-acre wildlife preserve which included miles of biking and walking trails.

This historically restored location offers homemade sourdough pizza from the imported Italian pizza oven as well as salads, paninis, beer, wine and some basic grocery staples.

Tidy House in the Heart of Vashon

Tidy House is a short walk to the heart of Vashon town. Walk to the farmer's market, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, museum, galleries and easy access to Island Center Forest trailheads. You'll have your own cozy, newly-remodeled cottage on a two-acre property with a fruit orchard, hammocks, and aspen grove. Easy parking and access to public transportation. Very safe neighborhood and a great central location for bike touring. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Nestled above the water on a high bluff, the view literally takes your breath away; Puget Sound, Cascade mountains and sunrises that astound. It may be hard to believe an island paradise is so close to two major cities, but time seems to have stopped on Vashon. It's a magical place; come visit and let the spell work on you!
