The apartment is environmentally friendly with electricity and hot water provided by solar panels. The heating is provided by a dual waste oil and wood pellet boiler. Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. You can enjoy leisurely hikes around Woodburn and Loughmourne Reservoirs (2 miles). 7 miles away is the magnificent "Gobbins Path," a cliffside trek considered to be one of Ireland's most stunning coastal walks. Our home serves as a gateway to the Co Antrim Coast Road and the world-famous Causeway Coastal Route, which is home to the Giant's Causeway.

The Sergeants house is part of a former police station built in 1901 that has been renovated complete with all you require to enjoy a relaxing stay in the centre of a conservation area. With beautiful scenic walks to Blackhead lighthouse and the White Harbour and only a short drive to the world famous Gobbins cliff path and Islandmagee peninsula your stress will disappear.
