Hattie’s 1898 Homestead’

Bring the family to this peaceful environment. Whether you are here to experience the crane migration, the state or county fair, a national or local trap shoot, or to visit family, this comfortable home is the place to rest. Owned by the same family who homesteaded this farmland in the late 1800's, this home has been remodeled. It boasts all the modern conveniences, but with the farm charm. This peaceful four bedroom home is close to wherever you need to go, surrounded by nature and wildlife.

1 Bedroom Shed in Country Perfect for Crane Season

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

The Spacious Surprise

The Spacious Surprise is full of the unexpected. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, it offers a great location two blocks from the hospital, across the street from St. Cecilia, and within walking distance from all that downtown offers. It is on a quiet street with large green spaces. We allow up to two dogs with a pet fee to allow for extra cleaning expenses. Although a basement apartment, it has a private driveway and entrance, and plenty of room with large windows in the bedrooms.

You will have the entire West half of this Duplex during your stay. Two Main floor bedrooms (King bed, Queen bed), one basement bedroom (two full beds) plus queen sofa chais in the living area. Full bathroom on each level. Kitchen has all updated appliances. Fully stocked with plates, cups, bowls, utensils etc. Coffee Pot, Toaster, Instapot, KitchenAid mixer, pots/ pans are all available. Fully covered porch with bar table to enjoy the outdoor space. Come stay for a night or for month!

Coziest place in town This is a tiny home tucked away in the heart of Aurora. within walking distance to our wonderful square in the center of town. This home is a perfect place for you to stay during your visit to Aurora. The house can sleep 4 individuals however it would best suited for 2 children and 2 adults if reaching the maximum of 4 individuals. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.
