This delightful tiny house in the woods can accommodate up to 5 people. It has a full kitchen, loft bedroom, bathroom w/ full tub and shower, and living area. You can sleep in comfort, enjoy making breakfast with farm fresh eggs, enjoy the morning air from the deck, sip coffee by the pond, or hike through the wooded trails. Relaxation and simplicity await you here. We welcome up to 2 dogs, no other species; pet fee will apply. Guests 14 and under MUST wear a life jacket at the pond. No smoking.

Beautifully restored 1850 farmhouse in the Shelby countryside. 30 minutes to Tryon. An hour to Charlotte/Asheville. Nearby are vineyards and GWU. 7 1/2 acres of serene beauty - sit by the pond and fish or hike the cleared trails down to the flowing creek. End the night sitting by the firepit. Sleeps 4-6 people. 1600 sq ft house with 2 BR, 2 Baths, den, and a beautiful open concept living dining and kitchen. Queen air mattress for den. NOTE: 6/25 upgraded to Starlink. Wi-Fi is no longer an issue.

The bathroom has a large walk in rain head shower The two bedrooms have full size very comfortable mattresses. A full size kitchen and a nice eating area. Two docks for fishing or just relaxing. Year round adventure is waiting just for you.

Mallard Cottage

Nestled in a cove on Lookout Shoals Lake, Mallard Cottage is a small bungalow raised on piers to elevate it above ground level. This provides a special view of the lake that is as beautiful in the morning as the evening. Our yard is fenced with gates as we are pet and kid friendly. The exterior was updated in the past two years and the interior has just completed a full remodel....it is very fresh, open, and welcoming. The lake side has two large glass doors that give a full view from anywhere

Private cozy lake home with indoor pool!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, and pedal boating from the owner's dock. Restaurants & activities minutes away. EV charging available on premise. The guest house is a separate structure with it's own hvac.

Relax and celebrate the holidays with a lakefront view, decorations & lights and maybe even a bonfire at sunset at the Loft on Lakeshore! Whether it be a couple's getaway, special occasion, holiday travel or scouting out the LKN area, we welcome you! Located in a quiet neighborhood only 1.5 miles off I-77, the Loft is a private second floor guesthouse overlooking Lake Norman. You'll also have access to an outdoor balcony, kayaks, paddle boards, the lake, beach, fire pit, and gazebo.

Riverside Cabin on 33 acres

Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. Our comfortable one bedroom apartment is centrally located near downtown Hickory, yet sits quietly on the main channel of Lake Hickory. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or relaxing from the dock. You are welcome to bring your own boat/jet ski and secure it to our dock. Relax and enjoy watching wildlife from your private deck. Hickory’s new River Walk (which winds through the woods)is directly across the lake. Charlotte, Asheville, and Boone are within one hour of the property.
