Discover secluded bays on invigorating coastal walks, or take it easy with a book or glass of wine in the light and breezy courtyard. Your generous 1 bedroom apartment has living/dining area, en suite and kitchenette, perfect for making snacks and light meals (you also have access to a BBQ just outside your apartment) and a great Cafe is just over the road - great home cooked meals and coffee! The Courtyard apartment is a wonderful home away from home. "The truth is, once you are here, you may never want to leave" Hyams Beach Bed and Breakfast is nestled in the heart of Hyams Beach village – directly across from 'the whitest sand in the world' - Hyams Beach. Swim with dolphins in the Bay, take a walk around the village and meet our friendly kangaroo's or just curl up with a book in the bright and airy courtyard. Our B & B is a modern-style accommodation based on an old fashioned idea. Not a teddy bear or lace curtain in site. The house has recently been purpose built and the Courtyard Suite opens out to a bright and airy courtyard equipped with deck chairs and outdoor eating area just waiting for that glass of champagne. Crisp white sun-dried linen, french doors, polished floorboards and plantation shutters will set the mood for a fantastic holiday atmosphere. As the accommodation is B&B style, self catering is not applicable although you do have access to microwave, toaster, small bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Cutlery, crockery and all glassware is included. The Courtyard has heating for winter and ceiling fans for those long summer days. Accommodation is suitable for single or double occupancy only As part of the Hyams Beach experience we offer an optional breakfast as we have found that our Air BnB guests prefer to make their own arrangements so our listed reduced rate does not include breakfast. However, we are happy to arrange a full breakfast at discounted rate of $20 per person per day Hyams Beach Café (just across the road) where you can experience the best coffee, home cooked treats and read the morning paper whilst soaking in the atmosphere of the village. You can sleep in or go for an early morning swim as breakfast is served until 11.00 am. Checkout for midweek and peak holiday periods is 10.00am but for weekend and long weekend bookings, checkout is Noon. We have installed keyless entry and each guest is given a unique 4 digit code which will enable access to your rooms. The good thing is you don't have to take your keys to the beach! As we live on site we endeavour to greet you on arrival so it would be helpful if you could text 30 mins prior to arrival so we have an idea of estimated arrival time. The property sits opposite the whitest sand in the world at Hyams Beach. There are are plenty of ways to explore the clear aqua waters and wilderness areas of Jervis Bay, including the incredible experience of swimming with dolphins. Public transport is limited so a car is highly recommended although hosts can arrange transportation from Sydney or the nearby train station. HBB&B is a 2.5 hr drive from Sydney and approximately a 2 hr drive from Canberra. We now offer free WiFi There is limited cooking facilities in your rooms - just a small utility area for making snacks. Breakfast is optional but can be arranged at the Cafe across the road at a reduced rate. Our good friends Chris and Sue Alison and their daughter Phoebe run the famous Hyams Beach Café. The Café is the heart and soul of Hyams Beach village and a great place to plan your day over breakfast. Breakfast is served between 8.00 – 11.00am each morning which allows you plenty of time to sleep in or go for that early morning dip in the ocean. The menu consists of vegetarian options and just let the staff know if you are Gluten or lactose intolerant. Dinner is available Friday and Saturday nights throughout the year and extended days during peak summer periods.
