The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket, Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Check in time is 4pm to 7pm. Ardinarive Lodge is a beautiful self catering house sitting on a hillside in the heart of the countryside, overlooking the Sperrin mountains. It is the perfect location for touring the North Coast, Londonderry/ Derry and Donegal. Benone beach is only 16 miles away and there are lots of local country/ forest parks to explore. The quaint town of Limavady is 6 miles away, and the lodge is easily accessible to Drenagh estate and the Roe Park hotel, perfect for guests attending weddings.

The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Our private Hot Tub is included with unlimited use all year round to our guests. We have local recommendations in our guide book but we are available and happy to answer any queries you may have.

The house is a short drive to Malinhead with its Northern Lights and its Star Wars' location and yet only 2 kms out from Malin Village. The beautiful Five Fingers Strand is a short drive or longer walk away. The hottub is also available for guests.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. It is very tranquil here with some lovely areas to walk. Even though it is quiet you are but 4miles from Donegal Town which has so much to offer within this County. This is a house that has been fully restored to a high standard and is over 150years old.
