The Hut on the Brett

Our shepherd’s hut is situated in a private part of our garden on the banks of the River Brett in the historic village of Lavenham, a two-minute walk from the Market Place with its Medieval Guildhall and Little Hall, a 14th century hall house. Lavenham has much to offer with its listed buildings, independent shops, restaurants, pubs and two small but well-stocked supermarkets. Footpaths make it easy to access the surrounding countryside and enjoy views of the village and its magnificent church.

Lavenham is the perfect place to visit and enjoy an all year round selection of festivals and events. There are many award winning galleries and boutique shops to browse with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

En-suite,double bed, sofa bed and mezzanine top double bed. Fully equipped kitchen, central heating for those cold winter nights. Large private lake for fishing. Close to local amenities with excellent pubs, restaurants and attractions near by. Lots of off road walking from the site. Also dog friendly 2 well behaved dogs max.

The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

Victorian country cottage

Centrally located to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Honeybee is within walking distance of the delightful village of Cavendish, a short drive to Long Melford, Clare and historic Lavenham with its famous timber-framed houses and just 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Honeybee is a well-equipped end of terrace. The village has a pub boasting delicious home-cooked food, a Chinese, fish and chip shop and social club along with two mini supermarkets, and pharmacy.

Recently completely refurbished, all furnishings are new, including new beds with SIMBA mattresses, top quality bed linen and towels. To the rear is a terrace - a sheltered spot for breakfast al-fresco. It has a lockable rear entrance for secure cycle and pushchair storage. Car park 100m away.

It sits adjacent to The Old Cottage, a charmingly wonky Tudor house, dating back to the 1430s, occupied by hosts Janine and Richard. There are plenty of beautiful walks and fascinating places to visit nearby, including medieval Lavenham, the old market town of Sudbury with is fabulous Gainsborough museum, and Bury St Edmunds and its fine Abbey.
