BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge!

Applecroft Cabin No. 1

Simple and clean, our modern structure is just a small porch and single open room with a huge glass sliding door. Inside is a brand new queen size bed with linen sheets, down pillows and a thick down comforter. You park and hike into the cabin and will have total privacy and peace here. The cabin has a large fire pit with chairs and a table and a grill for you to cook over the fire. There is an outhouse nearby and a huge pond to swim in.

Tiny Treehouse Cabin 100 Acres Kayaks

Snuggle up with your favorite person or pet in this tiny treehouse cabin in the woods. A comfortable queen bed, mini woodstove, and tiny kitchenette are all inside! Get cozy in the Maine woods, but stay close enough for cell service and a quick trip to the store. Outside the treehouse there are 100 acres of trails for you to hike, ski or snowshoe. In the warmer months, use the canoe or kayaks for a paddle or fishing!

Antique Barn Apartment at Salt Water Farm

This elegant and comfortable apartment in situated in an antique post & beam barn that sits perched above rolling fields and vegetable gardens looking out over the Penobscot Bay. From the porch, guests can watch the local lobsterman pick up traps and see schooners weaving through the islands. The apartment sits over Salt Water Farm Cooking School, a small recreational cooking school for home cooks.
