Little Halcyon is located in the Anchorage area, West Mersea. Just a short stroll from the beach, local pubs, restaurants and the village. It is a cosy, self contained, newly renovated annexe in 2021 with it's own private entrance and off street parking. Inside you have a sitting room with a sofa, dining table and a Smart TV. The kitchen area has a hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and full sized fridge. It has a separate bedroom with a King size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower.

Beautiful Period Fisherman's Cottage

Anchor cottage, an Historic Home and now with EV charger, is a delightful period, cottage situated in the heart of The Anchorage, once known as Mersea City on Mersea Island. It has three bedrooms, a large double, a twin room and a downstairs single bedroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and large sitting/dining room with a gas heater and provides plenty of space for five people indoors and there is a private, wrap around garden with BBQ area that enjoys the sun at most times of the day.

Chandler's Cottage

Chandlers Cottage offers you a wonderful space to enjoy your holiday. The Cottage has ample parking & is only a 10 min stroll to the beautiful esplanade and beach, where you can relax or participate in water sports, including paddle boarding and sailing. The walk along the beach from the esplanade to the Jetty is delightful, where children can enjoy crab fishing and boat tours are available. Local cafes, seafood restaurants, take-aways, supermarkets and pubs are all within walking distance.

Apple Tree Cottage

Apple Tree Cottage has been owned by our family for many years. We were born and brought up on the wonderful Mersea Island. We now welcome you to share our love of Mersea Island by staying in our Cottage. Apple Tree Cottage is a 1930s detached property with parking for 3 big cars or 4 little cars in a prime anchorage location; being 3 minutes from the water’s edge. The cottage offers numerous treasures enabling you to enjoy all this unique Island can offer for a perfect British Seaside Stay

Cottage on the beach

With its own beachside garden and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the wildest of Essex creeks and marshes, the cottage is only to be reached on foot atop a sea wall. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The last in a row of westerly facing cottages, perfect to watch the evening sun go down . From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.

Woodbine Cottage

Whether you’re get up and go types or would rather relax than rush, you’ll find Mersea has something to suit everyone’s taste and pace. Just take a short stroll from the cottage and you’ll discover a delightful esplanade and beach, two rather nice pubs, cafe’s, a yacht club and the famous seafood eateries. You’ll hear the bells ringing out from the sailing boats and see kids enthusiastically crabbing from the jetty. We fell head over heels in love with Mersea and hope you will too.

No.18 is a newly refurbished 2 bedroom property that has undergone a complete makeover, with everything you need for your perfect getaway. Situated in a quiet location with no traffic noise making it ideal for families and couples alike. A short walk to the beach with a café and children's play area or take a stroll to the seafood restaurants, shops, and other local amenities. Mersea Island is a unique place with beaches, saltings, boardwalks, sailing, oysters and much more.

Annexe Garden Cottage

Annexe Garden Cottage is located in West Mersea, next door but one to The Fox Inn. Walk to the beach via Cross Lane, further along the beach you can access the Hard. Annexe has off street parking, it's own private entrance & enclosed garden, garden table & chairs. & offers a great holiday base giving you access to both East and West Mersea. The accomendation provides kitchen, living & bedroom area & showeroom/WC. Bedding & towels are hotel quality giving you a relaxing stay.

Mersea Village House

A lovely three bedroom house situated in the heart of West Mersea village. With a short walk to the beach, this is a perfect island escape from city life! This house is in a fantastic and peaceful location with an abundance of amenities on the door step! There are various activities to take part in on Mersea Island including water sports and much more. There are no shortage of restaurants on the Island which offer fantastic food and Mersea Island's world famous Oysters!

The Moorings: 3 bed house in historic Lane.

Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.

Comfy, quiet beach cottage for walking & seafood

'The Cabin' is a comfortable, bright, two bedroom cottage on Mersea Island, a few steps from the sea on a much sought after quiet lane. There are two double bedrooms, one with a Super King bed the other with a King size bed and a bunk bed. There are great walks and bike rides either along the sea wall or on the beach, and some fantastic seafood eateries. Mersea Island is off the coast of Essex, 9 miles southeast of Colchester, just one hour from London.
