Recently refurbished this beautiful Grade 2 Listed building is located in Handbridge a very short walk from Chester City Center, the city walls and the River Dee. The house was completely renovated in 2018 to a very high standard with a beautiful bathroom including a roll top bath and shower and modern kitchen including dishwasher, coffee machine and breakfast bar. Built in 1887 the house was designed by the famous architect John Douglas and was previously owned by the Duke of Westminster

Whilst in a semi-rural location, it has great transport links to North Wales, Liverpool and Manchester

There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Ideal for families of up to 7 maximum or friendship groups enjoying a holiday together. 5 mins from M53, 10 mins from Chester centre, 5 mins from Chester Zoo and on the National Cycle Path (Route 70). Parking, garden, wifi, gas central heating. Open all year N.B. bookings for less than 5 days during the peak holiday weeks will only be accepted if dates are available 'last minute'.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

Two bed bungalow, garden, parking, pet friendly

Located just outside of the City of Chester, our two bedroom bungalow provides a fantastic base to explore Chester and the wider area. Two bedrooms with double beds, living room with sofas and dining table, bathroom with electric shower over the bath, and kitchen. There is parking on the gravel driveway with lawns to the front and rear. Visibility onto the road is not very easy, and we tend to reverse into the driveway for ease of egress. We welcome dogs on request. Charges applicable.
