This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Sassafrass Silo Treehouse on Table Rock Lake

The Sassafrass Silo began life as a grain silo that Mike found on a farm in Kansas. We felt she had more life left in her, so we took her from field to forest and gave her a new purpose! Her new journey is based on Debbie's family history from the beautiful Natchez, Mississippi. Her memories of serving in Pilgrimage in her own hoop skirt and classic charm of the antebellum homes paired with her love of bohemian style, nature and the lake helped create this unique space!

IMPORTANT : LOW CLEARANCE VEHICLES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. Access to and from the home consists of a rough gravel road with several low water crossings. (If your pulling a trailer you will need 4 wheel drive) Awake, refreshed, and ready for a day of exploring, hiking, biking, or just relaxing in this tucked away, eclectic mix of rustic charm. A modern, but cozy, 562-sq.-ft. loft apartment with full kitchen and bath, queen bed (with a Winkbeds Luxury Firm mattress)a twin Murphy Bed / desk, living room, walk-in closet, FireStick, Roku, DVD player, WiFi and more. Note that the barn is in our back yard and part of our home, so we don't allow instant book. We know it's a bit of a pain, but hope everyone will understand given that we live here too.
