We opened this guest house in October, 2017. It is the middle of downtown in Kyoto. It is 5 minutes walk from Kawaramachi station(Hankyu line). From Shijo station, it is 10 minutes walk. From Shijo station to Kyoto station is 4 minutes by subway. Our guest house is next to Shin-kyogoku dori, there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores, fashion items, 100yen stores.... It is easy to access to Nishiki-ichiba(we called the kitchen of Kyoto, market), Teramachi dori, Gion on foot.

Sakura River Inn 2 (Experience life by the river!)

This apartment is a rare Japanese-style residence located beside the Takase River. Preserving traditional elements such as tatami, it was once home to a real geisha. While major sightseeing spots are within walking distance, guests can enjoy peaceful river views from the private balcony, where ducks visit almost daily. This is one of our 11 apartment-type accommodations. It is about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk from Kintetsu Toji Station. The city bus stop called Kujo Omiya is also a very short walk away. The Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium are also nearby. They opened in April 2016 at Umekouji Park, which is only about a 7-minute walk. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the World Heritage Site, Toji Temple’s Five-Story Pagoda (“Goju no to”).
