Located in the rear garden of the owner's property, Bee's Place is a self-contained detached bungalow. Situated close to stunning Essex countryside yet just a 15 minute stroll into Chipping Ongar High Street with its supermarkets, coffee bars and the heritage steam railway . The location provides easy access to the M11, London, Epping Forest, Stansted Airport and the East coast. The wedding venues of Gaynes Park, Blake Hall, Down Hall and Mulberry House are all a short drive/taxi ride away.

GWP - Rectory North

2000 sq foot semi detached (north wing) 100 year old recotry on a private estate. And yes that’s a woodburner you can see in the photo and yes you can use it :-))) The gorgeous pool is shared with two other properties and you can use it any time between 10-6pm daily. A 360 video tour in 2d and 3d is available. Go to photos and in the living room section you will see an excel spreadsheet. Type the relevant link into your browser. Unplug or unwind with Netflix and other streaming channels on the smart TV — a tranquil hideaway that feels like home.

Private studio with deck

A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, a toaster and an air fryer. We can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

The Barn, beautiful rural retreat

The Barn is located within the grounds of our Grade 2 listed Cottage and yet is far enough away from the main house to allow our guests privacy. The property offers two luxurious double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and bath. The light and spacious living / kitchen area is fully equipped with all appliances including a dishwasher and provides comfortable seating for all our guests. Guests will receive a welcome pack of goodies on arrival.

There are local supermarkets, takeaways & restaurants within a 15 min walk away. There are some lovely walks on the door step.

The Stables is a spacious two bedroom cottage adjacent to our family home. We live down a private drive, off the main road in the middle of traditional English parkland.
