Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

the ISLAND - A Charming Island Cottage and Bunkie

The ISLAND provides an amazing and unique escape that is truly one of a kind. This remarkable location is located only minutes off the highway and is less than an 1.5hr drive from Halifax. Enjoy the day exploring the shores and endless ocean views on land or in one of the kayaks or canoes provided. Spend the evenings with your favorite drink (and people) around the bonfire. However you decide to spend your time, we hope you enjoy your stay at this tranquil and picturesque island escape.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

The Boathouse - “Oceanfront” (Kayaks & Firepit)

Welcome to The Boathouse! Conveniently located in the Municipality of Barrington, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. Unwind at this uniquely built, rustic cabin situated next to the ocean. At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. The airbnb is located 20 minutes outside of Halifax on six-acres with an outdoor fireplace, BBQ and stunning views that overlook Back Bay.
