At the end of a quiet no-through lane, next to a dairy farm with footpaths across the fields into the historical village of Chilthorne Domer. The lodge has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 (4 adults and 2 children) with a spacious open-plan living/dining area. Surrounded by a vast deck & lots of outside space on which to enjoy evening BBQs relaxing & watching the beautiful sunsets & buzzards circling above. Plenty of parking.

Round The Bend which is maintained to a high level sits within the heart of the very quiet village Odcombe. The Masons Arms pub is just a short walk away, serving real ales and fantastic food. Brympton House which hosts many weddings and events is just over a mile away making us the perfect location. Also neighbouring Odcombe is the lovely village of Montacute which boasts the beautiful National Trust owned Montacute House. The King's Arms which is also in Montacute serves food and real ale.

The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

The cottage is in stoke sub hamdon Ham Hill is a 390 acres country park centred on a huge Iron Age hill fort. which is popular for picnicking, walking and mountain biking, situated at he top of ham hill is the Prince of Wales Pub which is dog friendly. The Jurassic coast is from 40 minutes by car. West bay, Lyme Regis.

Cottage in the heart of Montacute

A cosy cottage in the heart of Montacute just a couple of minutes walk from the National Trust property, Montacute House. The cottage has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and various decorative updates. Montacute is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England, 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Yeovil. The village is built almost entirely of the local hamstone. At the centre of the village is a large square known as the 'Borough' around which are grouped picturesque cottages

The village has a grocery shop, butcher, restaurant, pub, children’s playground and lots of walking all close by. The cottage is the perfect retreat and base to visit all Somerset and Dorset has to offer. There are two double bedrooms offering accommodation for upto 4 guests. The cottage garden is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine by the fire pit.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Montacute. We are blessed to have the Elizabethan Montacute House of Wolf Hall fame which is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The house’s long gallery is the longest of its kind in England and displays Tudor and Elizabethan portraits loaned by the National Portrait Gallery.
