Built in 1910, this renovated home gives the feeling of years gone by in a new way. The Smith House, once home to a treasured family of 12, is rich in history & heart. Bring your whole family to a place with lots of room for fun & laughter. Walking distance to city park, ball diamonds (.2 mi), swimming pool (.4 mi), convenience store (2 blk), golf course (.5 mi), and Auble‘s pond. Large porch to enjoy small town evenings on main street. Large yard for kids to run, or gather in your lawn chairs.

Cedar Creek Cabin

Outdoor enthusiasts, friends, and families, we invite you to enjoy your next Sandhills trip with a stay at the Cedar Creek Cabin. Our two bedroom, one bath, cabin sleeps eight. Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Charming home located a block from downtown Loup City. Walking distance a café, grocery store, hardware store, bowling alley, masseuse, antique shops, and local bars. Features 2 bedrooms, accommodating up to 7 guests. Perfect for a weekend getaway, spending time in town with family, or near recreational opportunities at Bowman’s Lake or Sherman Reservoir! Krause Haus

Neat small older home for fishermen, hunters, etc. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with tub/shower, living room and kitchen. Smart TV's in each bedroom and living room for you to access your streaming account services. There is no BBQ grill outside, but there is space available for you to bring your own if you wish. Parking available in the driveway directly next to house by the front porch if you wish. Street parking is also available in front of the house. No Pets and No Smoking.

Wagner Cabin North

Enjoy a relaxing stay with family and friends at the Wagner Cabins, a family-owned small working ranch in the secluded Calamus, Nebraska area. Our cabins are nestled along the North Loup River and just minutes from the Calamus Reservoir. A large pond with excellent fishing is just a stone’s throw from the cabin porches. The Wagner Cabins are two adjoining cabins that can, in total, sleep 13 people. If interested contact the host to reserve both North and South together.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

Find peace and solitude as you relax and unwind in our quiet neighborhood. Our cottage was enhanced with new flooring, new furniture, and appliances in 2024, and also with a remodeled bathroom. The big front porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or an evening meal. A quiet street with a corn field to the south of the cabin and a grassy meadow on the other side. Just across the meadow is the Scotia Rec Hall with playground equipment.
