You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Welcome to The Howland Hideout! This unique tiny home is the perfect getaway spot for all seasons, filled with the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay and boasting handcrafted touches throughout, you won’t find many places quite like this! Could be a great fit for traveling nurses as there are multiple hospitals nearby. This family friendly location has a large parking area with plenty of room for vehicles/trailers and the patio/backyard are a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin daybed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Full kitchen & tiny bathroom with shower too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. The tiny house and meadow are very private on the edge of the property, and just for you. Our family's gazebo, fire pit, hammock, trail & garden are shared with guests.

This is the perfect location for a family vacation or business/working people who travel and have temporary assignments lasting one week to several months. Hunting, fishing and hiking destinations include, Baxter State Park, Gulf Hagas, and Katadin Iron Works. Water access at Knights Landing just a short distance away.
