Welcome to Lamoine Quilted Garden! My cozy, quiet, secluded property is only 20 miles from Acadia National Park, about a 30-minute drive. It is the ideal location for anyone wanting to be accessible to Mount Desert Island, yet be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and traffic. Just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous Lamoine Beach and Lamoine State Park, and a quick drive to Marlborough Beach and Blunts Pond (an amazing local swimming hole!). Breakfast supplies and coffee provided!

We truly want Everyone to feel welcome here! Bar Harbor is a scenic 45 minute drive away. There is great hiking/xc skiing in our huge back yard (Sunrise trail/Maine reserve land) Rustic farm apartment with full kitchen, breakfast foods provided first day. Farm veg can be bought in season & our own wine, jam, hot sauce, maple syrup. Can accommodate 6 folks, one in a cupola! Hot shower & heat. There is a sawdust compost toilet-Easy to use & no smell! We are on Wabanaki land, give all respect.

Off Rte 1A leading to Acadia Nat'l Park (19 miles), Bar Harbor, Schoodic, etc. Built in 1875, the home has 15 inside steps; entry hallway needs paint. Bed & futon are both standard-size, combo shower/tub. 4/10 mile to downtown Ellsworth w/shopping, dining, & pubs. Or you can relax & cook at home! Check in 4 p.m. or later. Rustic lodge nestled in the woods, on 60+ acres. Close to Bangor, coastline, and 50 miles to Bar Harbor. Large eat in dining area with plenty of room for family and friends. Outdoor fields for games, grilling, access to Maine wildlife, with plenty of parking. Private master bedroom w/bath. Large community areas to enjoy time with friends and family. At night spend time by the campfire and take in the stunning night sky. Party and events are not allowed at this time due to COVID-19 policies.

Finding Joy

This lovely apartment is above our garage. You can come and go as you please. We have created a place for peace and solitude. Sit on the deck or look out the dining room window and see the woods and wait for the birds and wildlife that may be wonder through the yard. There is coffee and tea available, along with basic breakfast supplies, if you wish. Keyless entry allows for you to come anytime after check-in. Please note, you have to be comfortable with stairs to access the apartment.

Bar Harbor Suite Under The Eaves

Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

Beautiful views of Hermon Pond from almost every window of this unique camp. There are 2 bedrooms, a king bed in master & two full/full bunk comfortable beds in the second bedroom. Newly renovated full basement combination bar & game room for your enjoyment. The large lot allows for family games while the large oak trees provides privacy. In the evenings, spark up the fire pit & roast some s'mores. A beautiful retreat to make lasting memories.

Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights all year. Enjoy Acadia National Park. 1885 home and grounds are a mixture of old farmhouse and updated design/functioning. In Somesville Village (on a main road) with Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor minutes away. The house has a kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bath. We are year round residents and love to share our home ,garden, field and woods.

Meadow Point Cottage

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.

It is located one half mile from Greenville Airport and a five minute drive from downtown Greenville. One bedroom with queen bed, all amenities, full kitchen, living room with double bed futon and bathroom.
