Bernie's is a super comfortable home base for friends, family, and pets to relax after a day outside. A totally unique setting: stay inside the living quarters of a historic church! Completely renovated with much care to preserve the features that give the space great character and authenticity. Your suite has 3 separate bedrooms, a generous living space, dining area, private laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of room for you to come together after an adventurous day in the Kootenays!

Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

This spacious suite can accommodate 4-5 persons as it has a Queen bed, a high-end pullout sofa and twin cot. It has a beautiful shower room and a well appointed kitchen and new appliances for you to cook with. Floor heating keeps you cozy and warm and the big windows make you feel being part of nature. It also has a barbeque on the covered porch.

Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

The sun-drenched deck faces a gorgeous ponderosa pine, and is a few steps away from an active game trail. We share this beautiful seven acre property with elk, deer, rabbits, a friendly neighbourhood fox, two ravens, and countless wild turkeys who enjoy eating Gabriela’s rye and buckwheat flowers.

Our beautiful 1100 sq.ft executive 2 bedroom suite boasts exceptional unobstructed views of the Kootenays. The 800 sq.ft private deck provides a place to enjoy the sensational sunrises and a BBQ to prepare meals at sunset.
