Residence is shared with host, 1 small, school-aged child, & a cat. Living areas are located downstairs while guest bedroom & full, private guest bathroom are located upstairs. Wi-Fi through out home. Smart TV in bedroom requires guest to provide their own HDMI Cable to access internet. Washer & dryer available in attached shed. We are a freindly people willing to cater to your reasonable requests to make your stay as comfy as home. However, we are usually at school or in my bedroom, working & playing. Feel free to knock on my bedroom door or give me a ring.
We are located within 5 minutes of the Fort Bend Tollway & Beltway 8. The neighborhood is an older, more gentrified one, but quiet and very well maintained by the Briargate HOA.
Although I have never taken the bus & most residents here don't either, there is a MetroBus stop apx 10 minutes away by foot. There is a small, enclosed garden with a bench where my family, pet cat, & guests can sit, grill, smoke, etc. There is also a 25ft water hose attached to my shed where a car can be washed, for convenience.

I have two listings, in the case that both rooms are booked at the same time, the bathroom will be shared.
Your room has a comfy queen bed. Towels, soap/shampoo are provided in your bathroom which is located just outside the room.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It is a few miles outside the Houston city limits, conveniently located off 288 and Highway 6. It is about 15 minutes to Pearland Town Center, about 20 minutes to NRG stadium, Museum District, Medical Center, Hobby Airport and Sugar Land Town Center. It is about 30 minutes from Downtown, Uptown and Midtown and about 50 minutes to Galveston Island and an hour from Bush Intercontinental Airport.
There is a walking trail about two blocks down (5 min walking distance).

Remodel this 1928 SF house in Sept, 2019. New hardwood floor for bedrooms, Vinyl floor for other areas. New bathroom vanity, countertop, toilet, refrigerator, dryer, drinking water purification system.
I have one extra mattress if 2 guests like to stay in one room. The room is 140 sq ft and keyed locked. The house is very safe and has 4 neighbors (L and R sides and one of two back sides have dogs). Motion sensor at the front.
Clean and safe. Both sides and back yard of the house have neighbors.
We have a home owner association and security patrols all the time.

Amazing house where you can sit and relax from a long days work or just a place to chill and enjoy with others!
You can use everything except other guest's rooms, master bedroom, and garage fridge.
Neighbors are pretty friendly, but also to themselves most of the time. Most of them work a usual 9-5 job or are retired. There are also shortcuts, once you figure out the back way, to stores and restaurants!

Nice place to stay No wash and dryer you have to do your own clothes at the Landry Mart. We live in a cool areas most people in this area are retired we keep our noise low. We have police that's goes around the area,we show respect and help each other and welcome everyone. We have drive way packing so on.Do you not book if you don't have a job that will keep you home all day.No pet allow and no smoking in the house. Room is in upstairs All Guess must be silent by 10pm so that others can sleep.
Nice and cool area to stay most people here are retired so we keep noise low. Police patrol our community all the time we like 20mins away from downtown Houston. All guess must be slient by 10pm so other can be able to sleep, that's why I sent my kids to bed by 9pm so that all guess can sleep without any noises. If you know that you want to stay up on your phone until 12midnight don't book my place if you do I will report you to Airbnb and I won't refund you no monies. Thanks for your understanding.

May also have another room for rent should you require two rooms!!
I LOVE that my neighborhood is a suburban neighborhood where kids actually play outside, the neighbors are friendly and look out for one another.
There is an overall wonderful sense of safety and security here. We also have plenty of walking trails, playgrounds and we also have access to fitness stations at the parks within the subdivision.
