Access your private bathroom inside the main house through the doorway closest to the snug . At night you may be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves. You might see beaver who swim by under the willows at dawn and dusk and stop to nibble on the willow leaves, raccoon or deer. Bald headed and golden eagles nest above hiking trails in the pine forest steps away.

Violet Creek Cottage, a truly unique cabin is located at the base of Larch Hills Mountain right along side the Shuswap River. It provides cozy accommodations suitable for couples/small families on a 19 acre property with rustic charm, character, and a truly "mountain experience. Huge creekside fire pit, just steps away! We are located on Oyamas Isthmus between Wood Lake to the south and beautiful Kalamalka Lake to the north. The rail trail is minutes away and is great for walking or cycling and goes right around Wood Lake (Turtle Bay pub is a great stop on this route) as well as along the shore of Kalamalka Lake right into Vernon. There are great hikes, skiing (Big White and Silverstar), mountain biking, golf and vineyards all around and there are buses to Vernon or Kelowna a short walk away

Riverside Ranch sits on 37 beautiful acres alongside the Shushwap River, 1km upriver from Mara Lake. The private guest suite has a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom including shower and soaker tub, and patio with hot tub and BBQ. The suite is self-contained, with your own private entrance. The property has a private sandy beach on the Shushwap River, just steps away from your private patio and hot tub. Breakfast service is available for an additional $25/person per day.
