A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests and a single person kayak. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. The Shack---an ideal off-grid forest experience

Want to disconnect? Experience privacy and tranquility in a cozy forested hideaway! The Shack is an off-grid, comfy, one-room cabin (16 ft. x 20 ft.). It's a .5km hike on a rocky wood road from our home . No electricity, internet, or cell coverage. Can be "buggy" during blackfly season. Enterprise wood stove for heat + camp stove + BBQ. Fresh water + wood provided. Board games; over 60 books . Outhouse. Campfire pit. Access to canoe, life jackets and paddles (free)+ Internet at owner’s home.

The Surf Shack

The ISLAND provides an amazing and unique escape that is truly one of a kind. This remarkable location is located only minutes off the highway and is less than an 1.5hr drive from Halifax. Enjoy the day exploring the shores and endless ocean views on land or in one of the kayaks or canoes provided. Spend the evenings with your favorite drink (and people) around the bonfire. Welcome to The Boathouse! Conveniently located in the Municipality of Barrington, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. Unwind at this uniquely built, rustic cabin situated next to the ocean. At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. When night falls sit back and relax at the fire pit as you look out on the ocean. Enjoy your stay!
