Beautifully restored 1800's home on historic Isle Madame. This very friendly Acadian region is connected by a bridge to Cape Breton and is perfect for relaxing, sightseeing , hiking, and water activities. Kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent at nearby Groundswell Pub. Shopping conveniently located on Isle Madame, and in nearby Port Hawkesbury. The calm water in front of the cottage allows for fantastic reflections, and has earned this cottage its name "Reflection Bay".

Relax, unwind, and enjoy your stay at Serenity Shores directly on the Bras d'Or Lake with spectacular sunsets. We are located in St. George’s Channel. Use this cottage as a home base to tour the beautiful island of Cape Breton or spend a night before getting on the ferry to Nfld. We are located 1 1/2 hours from an access point to the world famous Cabot Trail and about the same to the ferry. The area offers great golfing (4km away), hiking, fishing and sightseeing.

Because the upstairs is a converted attic with sloped and low ceilings it may be better suited for children, although is doable for adults. Just take note of this .Guests are expected to keep the house in good order and leave outside furniture as found. The third bedroom with the single bed has a curtain door.
