Fitzwilliam lodge - luxury lakeside lodge

*Please note there is a charge of £40 per dog.* We believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides astylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of 4 people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner (and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total)

This cosy luxurious self contained oak framed cabin offers the perfect peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Listen out and you may hear the owls at night. Backing onto the National Trust Ashridge Forest, perfect for outdoor lovers yet equally suitable for a romantic night in. 1.5 miles away, the popular market town of Berkhamsted, offering atmospheric pubs and bars for a special night out. The cabin offers cozy spacious living with King size bed on a mezzanine floor! STRICT NO PET POLICY!

The Little Hop House, a cosy one bedroom barn

The Little Hop House is a beautifully restored 250 year old building expertly converted from an Old Hop store to a one bedroom annex. It has a well equipped kitchen, living room, large bedroom and bathroom, making this unique space perfect if you are working in the area, a weekend get away or visiting the beautiful historic city of Cambridge. A log burner and under floor heating will ensure your stay is cosy and snug even in the winter months. It is not suitable for babies or young children x

Rural Retreat

A spacious self contained loft space above the garage with its own private access via an external staircase with off road parking. This warm and cosy space has a full kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, a wine cooler, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The table and chairs provide a comfortable space to eat. Towels and fresh linen are provided. The living area has a sofa and TV, and bathroom has a full size bath and shower. There is even a small wardrobe for storage.

Unwind completely in this detached private lodge, overlooking a natural pond, abundant with wildlife. Breathe the fresh air. Listen to the birds. Relax. The lodge is perfectly designed and fully equipped, a truly comforting retreat. Within 10 minutes walk there’s a butcher, baker, deli, cafe and restaurants.  Lovely walks across open countryside lead to some of the best eateries in the area. Explore museums and galleries, and enjoy theatre, festivals and punting in historic Cambridge and Ely.

The Barn. Hot tub optional extra.

Overlooking the Chilterns, dating back to 1740 Marquis House was originally a pub. The Barn is where the beer was kept, but now it offers sumptuous accommodation for you to relax. Independent access and self contained for your privacy. The Barn has everything you need including a log burner and 50" TV in the lounge, a hand made King Size bed and an extensive kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine (open the stable door to take in the view). Optional log fired hot tub.

Mill Farm House in South Cambridgeshire

Situated within the beautiful Mill Farm, Mill Farm House is a modern and spacious detached house in a small rural village within east reach of Cambridge city. Completely renovated in May 2022, this gorgeous, large open-plan living space is ideal for groups of friends and families throughout the year. Take advantage of the tranquil surroundings that include a lovely wrap-around garden to relax and unwind. This contemporary house is perfect for creating lasting memories with friends and family.

The Secret Corner

We have put a lot of care and attention into our unique log cabin, hot tub and private garden. Access is through our separate secure entrance to the bespoke garden. When inside feel free to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars, ideal for a couple or solo travellers. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.

The barn has its own central heating, double bedroom, bathroom, living room with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and private patio area. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. This is a log cabin 6.5 x 7.5 meters.LED evening soft light dimmable. Located on a working arable farm. Currently set up for sleeping 4 persons in double sofa bed and 2 singles. All one space, small kitchenette with 2 ring hob, drinks cooler, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar, sink, shower & toilet with hand basin and living area. £6 pet fee is for doggy treats, a drying towel, basket and blanket.
