Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Wedmore village with 3 pubs, deli, Indian, cafe and shops is only 1.3 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol too. The Mews is a self-catering, detached 2 floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, close to, but separate from the main house. The Mews takes a max of 4 people (in 3 beds), with its own entrance, free parking for up to 3 cars, its own private summerhouse (with heating, lighting and power), and the private use of a section of a courtyard with outside seating. We are 1 mile from M5 Junc21; but 5 miles to Weston-super-Mare beach, and 10 miles to Bristol airport. Check-in is after 3pm; check-out by 10am.

Fairywells is a self-contained barn conversion. It is attached to our stable block across the stable yard from our farmhouse. The property is newly converted. It is located in beautiful rural Somerset, yet ideal for central Bristol (15 minute drive) and Bristol Airport (less than 10 minute drive). There are lovely local walks straight from the property, with a footpath leading down to the pretty village of Barrow Gurney which has a pub and shop.
