Situated at foot of beauty spot Dunkery Beacon & 15 minutes from coast. Farmhouse nearby may be occupied by owners plus their family.

Vist the beautiful coastline & peaceful countryside of Somerset with lots to do in the area for all ages. Sun bathe & star gaze from our large south facing patio! Our house is detached, well equipped, spacious & south facing with walks & off road cycling from the doorstep, fab views. We have 4 doubles, 1 single, lovely beaches nearby, large garden, patio BBQ & fire pit, dogs are free. I may be able to be flexible on dates & numbers do message me. Home made scones & a bottle of fizzy welcome you!

There is also a petrol station with a supermarket in the village, stocking fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from local farms, it also has an in-house bakery for your fresh baked needs.

Facilities include a shared indoor heated swimming pool and central Exmoor National Park location. Garden Cottage is a beautiful peaceful retreat in the tranquil village of Timberscombe. A 2 bedroom cottage with patio garden and ample walking for your dogs, a post office and shop and a pub serving great food. Dunster 3 miles away with a dog friendly beach and Minehead 5 miles away where the south west coastal path starts featuring the salt path. Ideally situated to explore Exmoor, Dunkery Beacon, Porlock, Lynmouth, Tarr steps, Landacre and Lorna Doone Valley.

Red Oaks

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty this is the place to be.

Raleigh Lodge, Wheddon Cross

Raleigh Lodge is a bright, spacious single-storey conversion of former stables, sleeping up to 8 guests across four bedrooms and four bathrooms (6 in the main house, plus 2 in an adjacent shepherd's hut). The king-size master bedroom has a roll-top bath and en-suite shower room, the super-king second bedroom (convertible to twin on request) has an en-suite wet room, and the third king-size bedroom has an adjacent shower room.
