The cabin is located only 5 minutes from the North Wilkesboro Speedway and 10 minutes from downtown Wilkesboro; Rooster’s Roost offers convenience and seclusion! Named after our 5-pound Pomeranian, Rooster who lives upstairs, our property is pet friendly with plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small creek which runs along the property. West Jefferson, Boone, Moravian Falls and many ski areas are within close proximity as well! Please come enjoy this oasis in the foothills!

Blueberry Hill Cottage: town and country

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees - yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Cottage accommodates two adults with foldout bed for a child. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from your private rear deck, sit on covered front porch, or stroll the 2.6 acres of grounds. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged.

Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway or need to work remotely, our super-fast Wi-Fi allows you to stay connected with ease. Important: The spiral staircases are tight. Please be mindful if traveling with small children or elderly guests.

Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Cross Creek Farm includes a newly renovated farmhouse nestled on 78 acres - the essence of a rustic retreat with modern amenities. Many of our animals are rescues and enjoy calling the farm home. We have highland cattle, goats, ducks, pigs, Rufus the donkey, and more! Explore the 6+ miles of trails on the property, with the mountain summit featuring expansive, gorgeous views of the foothills. Unwind in the evenings with a glass of wine on the porch or a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Sadie's Place on the Blue Ridge Parkway

A quiet haven in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Sadie's Place borders the Blue Ridge Parkway, just steps from the Mountain-to-Sea Trail, kayaking and fishing. Nearby you can find great wineries, shops and restaurants in West Jefferson. Our guests love the cozy atmosphere and well-equipped kitchen. We have great outdoor space with a fire pit, covered porch, hammock and beautiful stream. Sunset views! Great for a group, family or couple. Many enjoy family celebrations here.

The Ayers House

The Ayer’s House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wilkesboro, NC. You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. W. Kerr Scott Reservoir is 4 miles away and offers fishing, swimming and boating. If mountain biking is your thing, drive across the dam and you will find top notch riding at the Dark Mountain Park. Downtown Wilkesboro is just 2.5 miles away and offers several restaurants, shops and the Wilkes Heritage Museum.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. It's nestled on a 12 acre lot yet centrally located. Minutes to Wilkesboro, Jefferson, and Boone. You have found the perfect spot whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway, attending a wedding, music festival, or NASCAR race. You will find yourself in close proximity to all area venues (Sky Retreat, Fussell Farms, Wanderlust, etc.) . Easy access just off of Boone Trail. Great cell phone reception and fast WIFI.

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.

This newly updated home has spacious bedrooms, three full baths and comfortable open living areas. Newly added outdoor patio and creek side fireplace seating. Picturesque valley and mountain views over looking horse pastures and wildlife.
