Dogs welcome. There is a small courtyard only but plenty of walks and fields for exercising your 4-legged friend.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.

Located directly opposite Alton Towers theme park, part of Chained Oak Farm B&B, we are set in its own grounds of 24 acres of Woodland with stunning views overlooking the beautiful Churnet Valley countryside. Get cosy in our quaint Hutty/cabin it has all you need for a romantic weekend or a base for a walking holiday, Situated very close to Alton Towers and the Peak district is just a short drive away, and also some very scenic walks. unfortunately i cannot host pets or children under the age of 14,the two beds are together and are single box beds,I'm sorry but at the moment there is no WiFi on the property

A unique semi-detached Grade II listed stone cottage with wood burning stove. Ideal for walkers, romantic weekends, and families visiting Alton Towers. Walking distance to several pubs and local shop. Two double bedrooms -The upstairs layout is a family suite with the double bedroom and an adjoining room and single bed. The other double bedroom is on the ground floor and overlooks the garden.

You will drive off the quiet country road, up the farm track and arrive at Top House Farm where your Shepherds Hut, Hot Tub and BBQ Hut are awaiting. The recently upgraded Shepherds Hut contains a king sized bed, Kitchenette, Dining Area and En-suite Shower Room. The Hot Tub is ready for you on arrival and the BBQ Hut is the best place to settle down for the night around the fire.

Hawthorn Cottage - Romantic Getaway with Hot Tub

Step back in time to 1672 with a romantic stay at Hawthorn Cottage, a charming thatched retreat full of character. Original low beams, an inglenook fireplace, and a cranked staircase blend with modern comforts including underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with bathtub. Outside, enjoy countryside views, an enclosed garden, and your own private hot tub.

Our Pod is in the centre of Dimmingsdale which is a beautiful area with its woodland lakes, waterfalls and exciting paths and tracks to explore. You can walk through the woods to Alton Towers and to the Pub. You can collect your own eggs on request, and watch our horses and sheep graze. is great for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
