One of two refurbished stone-built cottages, which are dog friendly, with our own field to enjoy, with views of Mam Tor and Lose Hill. Modern fittings (including Smart TV and high speed wi-fi) set within original features all in the grounds of Speedwell House. We are just a very short walk away, 1 minute, from the many facilities in Castleton along with onsite parking. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
