THE GOLLY GOSH ! A stunning log cabin

The Golly Gosh log cabin has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with en-suite shower rooms. The open plan living space includes a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The lounge area has a log stove and TV. The veranda has a table and chairs for dining al fresco. The cabin is in a separate, self contained garden with additional seating, barbecue and a fire pit. There is also a private 4 person HOT TUB. We are a 20 minute drive from beautiful Bude. Please note the cabin is pet free.

Rural Shepherds Hut Devon 25 mins from the sea

A luxury Shepherds Hut set in the heart of Devon is easily accessible to Dartmoor and Bude beach. A cosy log burning stove inside, secure garden, your own field which is totally off grid, gives you the space and quiet to relax. Living area -a TV sofa which also doubles as a sofa bed. You are welcome to have a firepit and BBQ's in the fields. Our Blacknose Valais sheep are nearby to keep you company. Sit watch amazing display of stars, no light pollution. The property consists of three beautiful spaces - a lakeside wide beam barge with summerhouse on the shore and a floating studio. All three woven together into one deeply peaceful waterside retreat. Nine miles to the Atlantic, twenty miles to Dartmoor National Park. This is somewhere special to properly disappear and leave everything behind you.

The Barn In The Yard

The Barn is located in the middle of a beautiful 50 acre grassland farm just outside the market town of Holsworthy and just 15 to 20 mins drive from the amazing beaches at Bude. It sleeps 2 persons with plenty of space and comfort. Living areas are made for relaxing, kitchen modern and fully equipped, bedroom cosy, bathroom fully tiled, clean and fresh. Perfect for couples looking for that extra special West Country holiday. This home is not suitable for children or infants.

Felly House Annex

On the boarder of Devon and Cornwall, nestled in the Wolf Valley and within walking distance to Roadford lake. A perfect getaway for up to 4 people with two large roomy bedrooms, a fantastic open living area and a large outdoor decking. There's a whole heap of things to do within the local area - popular excursions are; water sports on the lake, walking and cycling. NB - the annex is not suitable for under 8 (see safety info) Recently added is a three person infra-red Sauna.

Hay Meadow Farm, Cosy Thatched Holiday Cottage

Hay Meadow Farm is a 12th century thatched manor house with origins dating even further back. As mentioned in the Doomsday Book the farm is steeped in history and the cottage with its inglenook fireplaces and exposed wooden beams is brimming with character. Situated in an extremely rural setting the manor house and meadows are very tranquil indeed. Surrounded on three sides by woodland and with meadow on the other, you can really get the sense of privacy and seclusion.

A 12 minute drive to Widemouth Bay, a popular surfing beach, and 10 minutes to Bude…a thriving coastal town with award winning beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants. Explore the stunning South West coastal path or pick up one of the cycle routes that pass the cottage. This is a perfect place to accommodate a peaceful or active getaway.

I spent 19 months in a shed making this from scratch, and it has my heart. It's designed to meld the security of home with the whims of the wild. There's a bus windscreen above the bed for star/cloud gazing, your own private woodland clearing, a woodburner, and all you need for good dining. It's totally secluded, you won't see anyone or visa versa. Now featuring a hot outdoor shower among the trees, running hot water inside, and Wi-Fi for the WFH crew.
