Cross country skiing from cabin, many quiet lakes in the area, Murray Lake perfect for paddleboards. With downtown Whitefish so busy, you will enjoy the tranquility. Kalispell is in the heart of the valley, so you are central to all that the area has to offer! 25 min to Whitefish, 10 min to Flathead Lake, 45 minutes to Glacier Park. My husband and I both grew up in the Flathead Valley and have hiked all over Glacier and the Jewel Basin, skied Big Mountain and Blacktail, and we would be more than happy to give you advice and tips as you plan your trip to the Flathead!
