Cross Creek Farm includes a newly renovated farmhouse nestled on 78 acres - the essence of a rustic retreat with modern amenities. Many of our animals are rescues and enjoy calling the farm home. We have highland cattle, goats, ducks, pigs, Rufus the donkey, and more! Explore the 6+ miles of trails on the property, with the mountain summit featuring expansive, gorgeous views of the foothills. Unwind in the evenings with a glass of wine on the porch or a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

Cabin in the Woods

The Cabin is at 2,500' elevation, ceiling fans to keep you cool. For winter, central heat or fireplace keeps you warm. Full kitchen. Our place is very quiet. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, New River, the Wilkesboros, West Jefferson, Boone (30 min.), Virginia Creeper Trail (1 hr.), W. Kerr Scott Lake. We think you will enjoy the coziness and mountain views. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. We do not allow children, pets, smoking or outdoor fires.

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services Amazon and Netflix. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from the private rear deck or walk the 2.6 acres of grounds, part landscaped, part garden, and part natural. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged per stay.

The Ayer’s House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wilkesboro, NC. You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. W. Kerr Scott Reservoir is 4 miles away and offers fishing, swimming and boating. If mountain biking is your thing, drive across the dam and you will find top notch riding at the Dark Mountain Park. Welcome to our Moonshine Mini-Mansion. The home is on 8 acres in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina and has just the right amount of every season. Only 30 miles to Boone and 6 miles to Faithfest and Merlefest! The entire home was refurbished with all new finishes, new paint, soft close cabinets, and new flooring in 2019. This is a cozy house, and it is on land aka 'in the sticks.' Due to it being out in the country, you may see a bug or two!

Log Cabin/Wine Country/Hot Tub/Fire Pit

Make some memories at this rustic, hand built log cabin. This cabin was built using reclaimed pine logs from local tobacco barns. Both bedrooms are located in an OPEN LOFT upstairs. Privacy curtains are installed but do not block out noise The cabin is full of amenities including washer/dryer, hot tub, antique clawfoot tub with shower, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, large back deck, game area with foosball table, and beautiful views of the little Brushy’s.
